• Husky Puppy Urinating Too Often

Although Siberian husky puppies pee quite often (up to 12 times a day) from the time of birth up until they are about 12 weeks of age and soon slowly diminishes as they gain control of the muscle controlling the bladder. But sometimes, even as the husky grows much older, the problem doesn’t disappear or the problem may develop sometime in the future that your husky goes to urinate way too often.

In some cases the Siberian puppy may want to pee as often as every 15 minutes! This is not a natural behavior and there is definitely going on with your puppy. The very first thing you should do is check with the vet as this may be a sign for some serious problems such as bladder infection or even stones in the bladder/kidneys. Some vets may tell you it’s not a big deal but I wouldn’t take their word for it. Take your husky to a vet who will diagnose your husky and make sure proper treatment is carried out.

If left untreated, this could potentially lead to a fatal problem. Also, keep in mind that if your husky pees too often don’t leave the water out – use ice-cubes instead.
